Google Apps - Domain

Google Apps最好的好處，可謂是可以食了Domain在Gamil內，令你可用學校的Domain做mail address，但卻是用緊Gmail的server及其所有功能。
但由於Google Apps內有好幾個其他的服務，所以這些服會因應你原來給予的Domain，auto在Google製造條個不同的link，使該服務可以即時使用。

例如學校的Domain是abc.edu.hk，其自製的URL如下：

General login Page:
http://www.google.com/a/abc.edu.hk

Start Page:
http://partnerpage.google.com/abc.edu.hk

Sites:
http://sites.google.com/a/abc.edu.hk

Calendar:
http://www.google.com/calendar/a/abc.edu.hk

Docs:
http://docs.google.com/a/abc.edu.hk

當然，這幾條前面有"google.com"的URL並不好看，其實在Admin Dashboard內，每個服務都可以選擇是否啟用，也可以自定domain的，不過如果要自定Domain的話，學校也需要在DNS內做一定的add domain設定，如果DNS不是hold在自己server內，更要付錢來加，所以要好好想清楚才好進行。
